Benchmarking
is a performance measurement tool used in conjunction with
improvement initiatives; it measures comparative operating
performance of companies and identifies the "best practices."

Gathering
Corporate Information--This will look at structuring
the information gathering function, strategies, technologies
used, linking information to organization strategies,
performance measures, database development, and other
measures.

Management--Covering the
organization of the process, optimization of inventory
levels, logistics and development, replenishment
strategies, investment recoveries, and other areas
such as the Internet, alliances, capitalization standards

characteristics and management, mechanization of the

Membership
- Membership
is open to individuals employed as permanent employees of
companies whose main line of business is the manufacturing
of parts, components or sub-assemblies for Automotive Industry.
- Participation
in specific activities of the association will be optional
and open to members sharing costs. Members pay only if they
join a specific study. Currently, membership is at no costs.
- We reserve
the right to review membership applications and to make the
final decision whether or not to accept any application.
Consulting firms are ineligible for membership.
